Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a solemn day on which we honor the 1.8 million men and women who have given their lives in service to our country.  Regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, they stepped forward as Americans, making the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy our freedoms.

MedalsThe National Moment of Remembrance asks that all Americans, at 3 p.m. local time, pause for one minute of silence to reflect upon the sacrifice and bravery of those who gave their lives.

Display Case, FlagAlthough our focus is on those we’ve lost, we also wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many grandparents, parents, siblings, spouses, significant others, and friends of those who have given their lives for the sacrifices they, too, have made.
